high parking fee loud nightclub
The parking fee cost r150 a day. It's quite expensive. a nightclub nearby created a lot of noise on weekend nights. I couldn't sleep well. the music was loud and constant, even late into the night. this really impacted my stay. I found it quite disruptive.

Really good hospitality and amenities

The staff were efficient and polite. The hotel offers transport to the beach, including a changing lounge with showers and towels. A complimentary bus to the waterfront runs every two hours. I found the movie theatre nice and appreciated the popcorn served there. The rooms are well-equipped with wonderful rain showers and tea and coffee facilities. Housekeeping serviced my room well every day. The feather pillows provided enhanced my rest. I also found a separate toilet from the bathroom practical. Our room was large and well-appointed. I enjoyed the food in the restaurants and the bar during several dinners at the hotel. The hotel management and staff were accommodating and provided excellent service. The rooms are spacious, modern, and stylish. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The room service was daily with towels changed. Bottled water was provided, and the bed was turned down in the evening.

small pool poor maintenance
the breakfast was good (i especially liked the variety).
i was disappointed the pool was small and seemed poorly maintained. there were only a few sunbeds, and no side tables were available, so we had to put our drinks on the floor. it did not feel like a true five-star experience.
